After a month of uncommon absentee rates due to the H1N1 virus (swine flu) and the seasonal flu, attendance is back to normal.

“We’ve returned to normal range…I believe we have come through the worst here in our building,” Mr. Joe Delehunt, assistant principal for campus affairs, said.

According to Mrs. Jean Pryor, assistant to dean of students, the absentee rate reached its peak during the last two weeks of September and the first week of October.  The second week of October was the first week when the absentee rate dropped back down to its normal two percent.
