On a Sunday afternoon in October of 2001, Mr. Brad Grabs, social activist and former Rockhurst theology teacher, was taking a stroll in a park around 18th and Parallel Avenue, in Kansas City, KS. While walking, Mr. Grabs was mugged by two teenagers.

Finishing that last problem from last night’s homework; typing the conclusion paragraph for a 1-3-1 essay the day it’s due;  reading that last chapter of To Kill a Mockingbird. There’s only one place at Rockhurst where these feats can be accomplished in peace and quiet: the newly renovated and study-friendly library.
