Try out the Shake
Weight’s six minute workout for maximum results.
Someone appears holding the iconic cylindrical, dumbbell shaped device, continuously shaking it back and forth: it is a commercial we have all seen. Despite the doctor’s recommendations, statistics, and pictures of ripped people, you can’t help but crack a smile and think our own, often humorous thoughts.
Even with the reputation and humorous side of the product, the Shake Weight, with its patented “dynamic inertia” could very well be the workout of the future. Designed for upper body workouts, the weight targets the chest, shoulders, back and arms. The faster it is shaken, the more intense the workout.
“The sexual side of it doesn’t bother me. My favorite workout is definitely the over the head triceps,” Junior Colton Mercurio, said.
The Shake Weight has both a male version (5 lbs) and a female version (2.5 lbs). It boasts being 300 percent more effective than the average dumbbell, and is only a meager $19.95.
“I use [the Shake Weight] regularly, mostly because I have fun while using it and it’s pretty easy to use. I feel results in my triceps especially…when I get done with a workout they are on fire,” Junior Mitch Degraw, said.
